In the spotlight this time is
Jaime Hayon (1974), one of Spain’s fines designers of today. In his teens he was involved in skating and graffiti which influences we still see in his work today. Jaime studied industrial design in Madrid and he later joined
Fabrica in Paris, the Benetton-funded design and communication academy. He made a quick career when he was promoted from student to head of their Design Department. Jaime decided to go solo after eight years and created his own collections of ceramics, furniture design and product design and occasionally collaborating with other known labels. Here is a look at some of his work.
