Fab find! The Love Shop

I found the cutest print shop today on Etsy. I'm talking about The Love Shop that has a nice collection of prints with sweet and inspiring messages in cutest colours. Owner and designer JJ says that her shop is her attempt to bring a little love to us and to the world. I would say mission accomplished. Here is a look at a few of my favorite prints. Aren't they just sweet? To order or to see the entire collection visit the shop here.

Colour inspiration: Pretty in pink

When I was a young girl I was in love with the colour pink and had my bedroom decorated in pink with lilac accents. I even had a pink bathroom. I've moved out of my parental home years ago, but my mom kept my room exactly the way it was when I left. Everytime I go back home my old room makes me happy. Now I'm all about browns and neutrals but I still have a thing for pink. Doesn't pink just make anything pretty?

Photographer Ryann Ford

While surfing the web I stumbled upon photographer Ryann Ford from Austin, Texas and I now love her work. Not only are the interiors beautiful, I also like the way she photographs. Her pictures often have an interesting focus or point of view. Since I'm really into grey lately, the first two pictures really caught my eye. Especially the first photo where grey is combined with pink accents. Very feminine yet strong. For more eye candy by Ryann Ford visit her website here.

To those of you who watch the MTV reality show The City, Olivia Palermo is no stranger. She is one of the cast members of the hit show and is praised for her fabulous sense of style. She works for ELLE magazine and lives in NY city where she has a cute little apartment. Here is a little peek at her place. It is chic and fresh and let's face it, who wouldn't want a closet like that?

Boutique hotel Mozaic in The Hague

I love it when you find a shop or store or any other location where the interior is so surprising it inspires you. This is the case with a very special boutique hotel called Mozaic situated right here in my city The Hague. This three star hotel is located in 2 historical buildings (dating from 1880's) and has a chique and modern decor. I especially like the maginified images of the city that serve as wallpaper giving the spaces a unique look. For more information on this hotel or for bookings go to

Dining room inspiration

I have recently been looking at a lot of dining room photo's. I plan on moving to a new place this year and I am searching for decorating ideas. I have a very old dining table that I'm planning to either throw out, or recycle. I really like the dining area in the first area, the combination between the rustic table and modern chairs. The lamp is awesome too (if anyone can tell me who the designer is I will be very grateful). Which one is your favorite?

Home office inspiration - Jen Ramos' new work space

One of my favorite bloggers is the lovely Jennifer Ramos of the wonderful blog MadeByGirl. She's gorgeous, sweet and super creative and now has a matching new home office space! I love it so much that I had to feature it here on Mocca & Me. Her new work space is very bright, and clean and fresh and I really dig the wallpaper she chose by graham and brown. Doesn't a office space like this make you want to work all day? :-) To read more about Jen's renovation project visit her blog here.
