Open House - Stylish and elegant Manhattan apartment

How fabulous is this Manhattan apartment? I am in love with the coffee table in the first image. It looks like it was made of an antique suitcase. I absolutely LOVE it! The apartment seems to be filled with many very unique decorating items and the overall look is stylish and elegant. The apartment was featured on Apartment Therapy. Eye candy

I love this room. I like the combination of the white top cabinets and the dark ones below. I also like the chairs. But my favorite thing in this room must be the Copper Shade lamp by designer Tom Dixon. I want it for my next home! I came across this image on the Chic Deco blog where you'll find more images of this cool lamp.

Colour inspiration: Black and grey walls

I love an interior with dark walls. It is gives a room such a sophisticated look. But it can also absorb the light in a space and make it look dark. Not in the rooms below. The walls have been painted black or a dark grey and it looks fantastic! I'm thinking of doing a really dark wall in my house. What do you think? Love it or hate it?

Let's visit... Jennifer Aniston's new LA home

One of my favorite actresses is Jennifer Aniston. So you can imagine my excitement when I found out that her new LA home is featured in the March edition of Architectual Digest. Unfortunately I could not find an issue of the US edition of the magazine here in The Netherlands (if anyone wants to send me a copy, I will be eternally grateful :-) But luckily I came across some photographs of her home on the internet. I LOVE her new place. It is warm, sophisticated with lots of character, just like her. I really like the stone walls and the gold piano and the chairs in the living room. What do you think?
