Hello dears! How is your weekend going? I'm having a good one. Today I visited the Dutch Design Week event in Eindhoven with a friend. It was so wonderful to see great and inspiring design. I'll be sharing some of my finds here on Mocca & Me the coming week. Meanwhile, enjoy the rest of your weekend. And for those of you celebrating Halloween, have fun and be safe!

Take care!

Great organizing tip
I'm always reaching to the floor to find the different tangled up cables of my printer, usb cord, electricy cord to connect to my laptop. I don't have a dockingstation. Here is a super simple way to organize these cables so they'll never have to get on the floor looking for cables again.

Listen to
I've been hearing the song Welcome to St. Tropez by Dj. Antoine on the radio a lot lately and it gets me in a good mood every time. And when I'm in my car I turn up the volume really loud and sing along. Enjoy!

Feeling kinda heavy! Concrete lamps...

Concrete lamps, you say? Yes, that's exactly what I said. I discoverd some lamps made of concrete! Now that in itself makes them cool items! I love the rough look and simplicity of these lamps. I think the first lamp, inspired by the shape of the lightbulb, is my favorite. You should really make sure they're securely attached to the ceiling. You don't want these lamps to fall on your head, ha!

These Beton lamps are available in two sizes and three shades of concrete. Also available via webshop Sooo.
This lamp consisting of nine different shaped shades. The lamp is also available in three shades. Lamp available via Dutch webshop Zooff.

Room crush ♥

Well, it's not actually a room I have a crush on. It's more the neon pink paint colour. I came across these images and I fell head over heals with this wall! Isn't it just stunning? Although my home doesn't have a lot of colour - it's more a mix of taupe, beige, browns and neutrals - I realy feel like painting a wall this exact same neon pink colour! Maybe one of the walls in the hall. Hhhmmm, not sure. Or I could just do a colour accent, like in the second image. What do you think? Love it or hate it?

Decorating tip! Revamp your home with Stickyicky®

Hi all! I've been a bit absent lately but I have been ill with a horrible cold and I also just started a new project at work and I was too sick or tired the rest of the time to blog. But I'm back with new energy. Today I want to share a great little decorating tip! You all know the photo wallpapers and larger then life sized images you can decorate your wall with. They are perfect to give an otherwise boring room a little splash of fab. But I can imagine that not all of us have the guts, or a big enough wall or the money to do an enormous image. Well, I have some good news (at least for those of you here in the Netherlands)! Now you can put ANY image on any kind of item you want. The company that makes this possible is Stickyicky® and they can put your image on a fridge, table, door, napkin container, you name it. But also on walls, ofcourse. Stickyicky® is based here in the Netherlands and (for now) only delivers in Holland. They do commercial projects as well as smaller private commissions. Want to pimp your fridge? Below are some ideas of what's possible. You can contact Stickyicky® via for more information.
